In 2015, Pratham Books' increased its footprint by going digital. As an industry leader, we were one of the first publishers in the country to open license our content. All this content is now available on StoryWeaver, which is a digital platform that hosts stories in languages from India and beyond, so that every child can have an endless stream of stories in her mother tongue to read and enjoy. The stories can be read, translated, versioned or downloaded for free. All stories on the platform are openly licensed.
We are looking for a Content Manager for the StoryWeaver team.

We are looking for a dynamic individual for the position of Content Manager - StoryWeaver. A self-motivated individual with experience and skills in curating content from multiple sources, forging strategic partnerships and anchoring the process of migrating content to the platform. The person will lead a team and be responsible for timely execution to expand the content available on the platform to serve the needs of children globally. The role will report to the Director - StoryWeaver and will work closely with different internal and external stakeholders. This is a full time position based out of Bengaluru.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the strategic planning, development, and management of content on StoryWeaver
Curation of Content
Continual development of new, innovative ideas to curate the content on the platform
Curate content based on requirements of organisations and partners so as to ensure users access quality content
Licensing and Sourcing Content
Create partnership opportunities with other publishers to open license their content on the platform
Work closely with the content team for sourcing children's storybooks under open licences from across the globe
Create, implement and showcase the best practices around open licensing of content through easily replicable frameworks
Orienting to Curriculum
Liaison with educational and governmental partners and teachers on curating content based on curriculum and structured frameworks.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and subject matter experts to create and source curriculum based content.
Hygiene and Maintenance
Liaison with collaborators and internal and external stakeholder to ensure that high quality standards are met for crowd-sourced content - including review processes and red flagging of inappropriate content
Work closely with operations and studio teams to ensure processes and work-flows are created and well implemented
Work closely with the editorial, research and marketing teams on promotions and campaigns and to deliver the project goals

Archiving and documentation
Required Skills
Post graduate in Literature / Education / Journalism with 6-8 years of experience in related fields. Experience with digital platforms is favourable
Experience in curriculum development or classroom experience
The candidate must have hands-on experience in review, proofreading and production related processes.
Exceptional communication skills
Highly organized and detail oriented
A proven track record to manage, lead and deliver large-scale operations
Proven ability to build consensus and work effectively within a cross-departmental team
Nice to have but not mandatory
Experience working with non-profits
1-2 years working in a partner-facing role
Indic language and digital publishing experience

In two years, StoryWeaver has scaled from 800 stories in 24 languages to 7800 stories in 111 languages by engaging with a community of users. Job Description
We are looking for a passionate individual wanting to make a difference, one who believes that technology can be a powerful enabler in creating equitable access to resources. This role requires an individual contributor who can work effectively, both independently and collaboratively, in a team environment and deliver the project in a timely manner within allocated resources and budgets.
We are looking for a Data Analyst to work closely alongside our Product Development team and other internal teams. You will discover the insights within our data sets, and help us make smarter decisions to deliver better results for our end users.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing requirements for new features for collection of data, execute data validation checks, ensure data integrity, use statistical techniques to analyse and interpret data, take complete ownership of Google Analytics, identify trends and provide insightful reports to internal and external audience.
We’re looking for a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual who loves digging into data, developing insights and communicating data-based recommendations. You will work closely with the internal teams and tech partners to implement your recommendations, track the impact and course correct.
The position will report to the Head of Digital Projects but also requires working closely with the top management. The person needs to be an out-of-the box thinker and should be a strong believer and propagator of use of open technologies.
The individual will be responsible for the following:
Work closely with internal product owners to understand the target audience and their motivations, generate the product enhancement, development ideas and requirements docs.
Perform steps required to create analysis-ready data sets.
Perform regular data analysis to demystify, assess readership, content gap, trends and performances.
Extracting valuable insight from our data and generating analysis that drives user retention and conversion.
Build a visualization tool that allows internal users to interactively explore the data and insights.
Respond to ad-hoc report and analysis requests from other teams as needed.
Take all data driven features to fruition by working closely with the product development teams.
Be the bridge in between organization and other data-for-good communities.
Must haves
BTech/MSc/MCA or other graduate degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Market Research, Operational Research, or related quantitative discipline.
Experience working with data and analytics.
Good technical background with some hands on experience with Python/R, relational databases to perform data analysis.
Ability to interpret findings through data visualization and delivery of presentations to both internal and external stakeholders.
Expertise with Google Analytics and common Data Visualization platforms like Tableau, Apache Superset, Google DataStudio etc.
Strong analytical thought process, ability to extract data and transform it into valuable, actionable insight.
0-3 years of experience in the industry
Nice to have but not mandatory
Experience working with non-profits.
Experience with Machine Learning.
Location: Position is based out of Bangalore and we are open to part-time as well as full-time position. Project is expected to complete within a 2 year time-frame.

Job Description
This position will work closely with the senior leadership to understand and shape the strategic direction StoryWeaver. There will be significant opportunities for innovation, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to further develop, nurture and scale a world-class digital platform that is redefining the way reading resources can be created and distributed globally. In a 2 year time-frame, the project outcomes are expected to scale by 10x and this position will play an important role in helping the organization meet this objective.
Key Responsibilities
Work closely with the internal teams to design strategies to implement the StoryWeaver’s strategic and operational plans
Align processes and resource-planning with overall strategy
Develop plans to materialize strategy and analyze strategic partnership opportunities
Track and monitor user trends and usage data to develop insights that will drive future product enhancements
Monitor and analyze industry trends and market changes
Requirements
Masters in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field
Proven experience as a Strategic Planner or Business Consultant
Understanding of market research and data analysis
Knowledge of business operations and procedures
Demonstrable strategic thinking abilities
Analytical mind with problem-solving attitude
Excellent organization skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Sophisticated ICT skills
Willing to travel to all project locations
6-8 years of experience
